Flour the matter of people

tea time on tow :

Designer on the verge of a London Festival

On the verge, literally, of the 2004 London Design Festival, TEA-TIME-ON TOW was a lively feature of much of the London Design Festival, including the World Creative Forum, 100% design, Design Museum, Truman Brewery and Gainsborough Studios, and was host to the great and the good, from the arts Minister, Estelle Morris and the Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, to Zandra Rhodes and Thomas Heatherwick who enjoyed a cup of tea  a natter in an entirely unique LDF experience – in an ever so slightly mad caravan with those rather eccentric people from Flour.

Flour was ‘on tour’ with their TEA-TIME-ON TOW, unveiling some new Flour designs and projects. The emphasis however, was on creating an intimate new experience that is half way between the new Prada flagship store in New York and a caravan weekend in Filey.
